London - A young British couple unable to have a child are considering cloning, they said yesterday. Mr Peter Blackburn and his wife, Ildiko, said that all the latest fertility treatments had failed so they thought cloning could be their best option.
"I'm not comfortable with the idea of there being 10,000 little me's . . . whether or not technology could produce a child identical to my wife or genetically identical to me, that's really not the issue. It's a child," Mr Blackburn said in the BBC television documentary programme Panorama.
