In yesterday's series of articles on the late Father Sean Fortune, he was inadvertently referred to as Father Forde at one point. The Irish Times wishes to state that there was never any intention to imply that allegations of any kind were made against any priest with the name Forde, and it apologises for the error, which occurred in the editing process.
