LIMERICK HAS received its second jobs boost in as many days with the announcement that a leading corporate governance services firm is to establish a European centre in the midwest.

Yesterday’s announcement came a day after financial services firm Northern Trust announced 200 new jobs for Limerick.

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton has welcomed the move by Glass Lewis Co to locate its newest office in Limerick with the support of IDA Ireland.

The new European office, the fifth in Glass Lewis’s global network, will focus on serving institutional investors throughout Europe. It will create up to 15 jobs in the first year with potential for additional employment, according to IDA chief executive Barry O’Leary.
