Cork incinerator case adjourns for fourth time

A High Court application against plans for an incinerator in Ringaskiddy, Co Cork, has been adjourned for the fourth time.

A High Court application against plans for an incinerator in Ringaskiddy, Co Cork, has been adjourned for the fourth time.

The application is seeking to reverse planning permission for the incinerator.

The application is being made by a group of 11 individuals and the Ringaskiddy Residents' Association Ltd against the State, An Bord Pleanála and the Attorney General.

The case is now listed for mention in two weeks, on July 16 th.

The campaign group, Cork Harbour Alliance for a Safe Environment, said in a statement today: "We hope that the government can see that the reason this case had to be taken is the same reason that Fianna Fáil suffered substantial losses in the local elections".
