A Dublin Bus employee who was verbally abusive to gardai agreed to make a voluntary contribution of £250 to the Garda Benevolent Fund.

John Grehan (30), of Thornville Road, Kilbarrack, Dublin, pleaded guilty to being drunk in public and to breach of the peace. The court heard that he had been verbally abusive to gardai during the incident. He apologised for his behaviour which he said was drink related.
