COPENHAGEN - Denmark, Norway and Sweden's shared consul in Burma died in a Rangoon prison yesterday, Danish and Norwegian officials said.

Denmark's foreign ministry said the British Burmese businessman, Mr James Leander Nichols, a close friend of pro democracy opposition leader, Ms Aung San Suu Kyi, was reported to have died of a heart attack.
