Co Tyrone council depot badly damaged by fire

A council depot in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, has partly collapsed after a major fire early this morning.

A council depot in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, has partly collapsed after a major fire early this morning.

A police spokesman said the depot on Oaks Road was severely damaged in the fire, which was reported at 1 a.m. A number of vehicles were destroyed and nearby homes were evacuated as British army and civil firefighters fought the blaze.

It is believed the fire may have been arson.
