Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney is looking to buy a holiday home in Kinsale, Co Cork. The actor, best know for his role as Dr Doug Ross in ER, has been in contact with Joe Cotter Auctioneers in Kinsale. The auctioneers have confirmed the star is interested in buying a holiday home in the town but denied reports that he was to buy a £1.2 million property in the area.
Local news media had reported that the actor, a nephew of singer Rosemary Clooney, was buying Colneth House in Cappagh, Kinsale.
