A two-year-old girl died last night after being struck by a van in Co Down. The toddler was hit by the white-coloured vehicle shortly before 6pm at Hill Street in Newry.
She was taken to hospital where she died from her injuries a short time later.
The PSNI has appealed for witnesses to the incident.
