Caracas - President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela yesterday hosted the first edition of his new weekly radio talk show, listening to people's everyday problems and joking about his baseball skills.
Mr Chavez, a retired army officer who enjoys overwhelming popular support among the oil-producing country's impoverished masses, said the Hello President programme would allow him to stay in touch with Venezuelans' needs.
