Paris - Parisians and tourists have been invited to join a candle-lit procession to the Pont de l'Alma at the end of the month to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.

A ceremony will be held at 26 minutes after midnight on August 31st to mark the moment when Diana's chauffeur-driven limousine hit the 13th pillar of an underpass on a right bank expressway. Her companion, Dodi Fayed, and the driver, Henri Paul, also died.
