Car-truck collision kills driver in Co Dublin

The driver of a car was killed when it collided with articulated lorry in north County Dublin early this morning.

The driver of a car was killed when it collided with articulated lorry in north County Dublin early this morning.

The driver, who gardaí say was a foreign man in his early twenties, died when his car hit a car transporter on the Dublin/Ashbourne road at Kilshane Cross at 1.30 a.m.

Diversions are in place, with a portion of the North Road, from Kilshane Cross to the M50 roundabout closed. Traffic is being diverted at each end of North Road.
