The national president of the Irish Countrywomen's Association has called on the association to become a 32county organisation, writes Cian McCormack.
At the national council meeting in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, on Saturday, Ms Breeda Raggett said: "These are unprecedented times regarding our country, peace is on the horizon for the first time in many centuries. It is time for us to bite the bullet and become a 32-county organisation."
