Los Angeles - California announced yesterday a moratorium on transactions with any Swiss banking institution that may hold unclaimed assets of second World War Holocaust victims or Nazi officials. The California State Treasurer, Mr Matt Fong, announced that California has stopped doing what had been $2 billion worth of business with the Union Bank of Switzerland, Swiss Bank Society and Credit Suisse.
