Bogota - At least 16 businessmen were massacred by an ultra-right death squad in a town in the oil-rich corner of northern Colombia, authorities said yesterday. At least 50 members of the right-wing paramilitary force, known as the United Self-Defence Forces of Colombia (AUC), dragged their victims out of their homes and from a bar and shot them in Tibu on Sunday.
