Irish house builders yesterday accused some politicians and economists of making misleading and inaccurate comments about the supply of development land in Dublin. The Irish Home Builders' Association (IHBA) claimed the comments were calculated to stir up bad feeling against house builders. The IHBA went on to say that successive governments have failed to meet their stated obligations regarding local authority housing and politicians were trying to shift the blame on to builders.
