A 16 year old Dungannon student bombarded RUC officers with missiles outside a Cookstown hotel and attempted to incite a riot, Cookstown Juvenile Court was told yesterday.

The teenager, who was said by his solicitor, Mr Paddy Mallon, to have a drink problem, was placed on probation for 18 months and ordered to pay £100 compensation towards the cost of damage to an RUC Land Rover.
