A boy who drove at 242km/h (150mph) through Tallaght pleaded guilty this week in Tallaght Children's Court.
The 16-year-old, with an address in Tallaght, Dublin, is charged with dangerous driving at Fortunestown Lane last September 6th. He is also charged with having no insurance, no driving licence, no road tax, no NCT, and with having a bolt cutters at Jobstown Road, Tallaght, on September 3rd.
This week, the boy was also charged with four counts of dangerous driving at Citywest Road, at Kiltalown Lane, at Kiltipper Road and at Blessington Road, all Tallaght, on September 6th. He was remanded in custody for a week to hear Garda evidence.
