WINCHESTER A former headmaster accused of molesting pupils at a public school yesterday told Winchester Crown Court he thought it was "normal" to bite boys bottoms in play fights. Monk John Dyer, who called himself "the lesser spotted bottom biter" at the £2,000 a term Catholic school, said he often nipped the buttocks of pupils during rough and tumble. The monk denies eight counts of indecent assault and one count of indecency.
