A bomb alert at a school in Larne, Co Antrim, has been declared an elaborate hoax by British Army bomb experts.
A bomb disposal team carried out a controlled explosion on a device that was was found taped to the gates of Larne High School and Moyle Primary School today.
More than 1,000 pupils at both schools were told to stay at home because of the security alert.
