Bohemians bounced back to the top of the Eircom Premier Division after holding St Patrick’s Athletic to a 1-1 draw at Richmond Park tonight.
Top marksman Glenn Crowe gave the Gypsies the lead on 28 minutes when he latched onto a Trevor Molloy through ball only for St Pat’s veteran Paul Osam to equalise for the home-side on the stroke of half-time.
St Pat’s upped the tempo after the interval but failed to find the goal to reflect their percentage possession.
The draw moves Boh’s ahead of Shamrock Rovers on goal difference at the top of the table.
In other matches played tonight Jason Byrne scored a hat-trick as Bray trounced Dundalk 5-1 at the Carlisle Grounds while Richie Baker was on the mark twice for Shelbourne as they ran out 3-0 victors over Galway Utd at Tolka Park .
