Aberdeen - The body of a US air force pilot, recovered near the peak of a mountain in the Scottish Highlands where his F-15 fighter jet crashed, has been identified, police said yesterday. The pilot is Lieut Col Kenneth Hyvonen.
His colleague, Capt Kirk Jones, who went missing during the same training exercise on Monday, is still missing.
