Gardai are investigating the discovery of the body of a naked man with head injuries who was taken from the Grand Canal yesterday. A passer-by found the body at Kearneystown, between Celbridge and Newbridge in Co Kildare, at 3 p.m. Gardai said the man was aged between 20 and 30. The Assistant State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, went to the scene.
