London - Osama bin Laden's network al-Qaeda has been planning to manufacture the biological poison ricin, it is reported today.
The Times newspaper tells how it found plans for nuclear devices in premises abandoned by al-Qaeda when the Taliban and its allies fled Kabul, saying that instructions for making the poison were concealed amid a mass of scattered documents listing formulae for manufacturing explosives, fuses and detonation circuits.
