Notorious Belgian paedophile Marc Dutroux was sentenced to life in prison for kidnapping, raping and killing girls in a series of crimes that shocked the country nearly eight years ago.
Judge Stephane Goux handed down the sentence at a court in this eastern town near Luxembourg after more than an hour of deliberation with the jury.
