Sectarian disturbances on the outskirts of north Belfast last night have left one man injured and two others under arrest.

Police said two rival gangs, totaling around 40 youths, threw bottles and bricks at each other during trouble in at Portland Avenue in Glengormley.

A 20-year-old youth was taken to hospital after he was hit on the head.

Two others were arrested for riotous behaviour.
