The Jordan Formula One outfit received a major financial boost today with news that Benson & Hedges will continue their sponsorship with the team.
Eddie Jordan's team has endured financial difficulties in recent months, but today's announcement that Benson & Hedges parent company Gallaher Group will extend their sponsorship - which dates back to 1996 - goes some way to easing Jordan's cash headache.
Jordan has taken encouragement from the deal and is enthusiastic about his team's chances for 2004.
He said: "The whole team is delighted that Benson & Hedges will be with us for a ninth consecutive season. They have been an integral part of our success in the past and they have shown remarkable loyalty to us.
"I'm proud that we will be racing once again in their distinctive yellow colours and we're looking forward to the season with excitement."
