Libertas founder Declan Ganley appeared as a guest in a panel discussion at a conference organised by the Catholic John Paul II Society in Ballaghderreen, Co Roscommon, last weekend.
The conference, which was co-hosted by the pro-life Human Life International group, was entitled Render Unto Caeser - Private Faith and Public Duty.
He issued an opening address and then participated in a question and answer session with the audience, during which he assured delegates of his opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage.
