Gardaí have issued a photofit of a man believed responsible for a series of violent robberies on taxi-drivers in Dublin city centre recently.

Four taxi-drivers were attacked and robbed by a man in the Christchurch area between May 23rd and 24th.

The weapon used varied on each occasion but included a rope, a knife and a syringe. Small quantities of cash were stolen each time.

The man is described as in his late 20s or early 30s, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins, of medium build with dark short hair, a pale complexion and speaks with a Dublin accent. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt and beige jeans.
