Gardaí are investigating a robbery at a post office in Co Sligo today.
A man entered the premises at Riverstown at about 10am carrying what was believed to be a firearm, a Garda spokesman said. He escaped in a car with about €2,500.
One female customer and staff members were in the premises when the man entered and demanded cash. No one was injured.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
