Sandpoint - Five armed children who surrendered to Idaho authorities after a five-day stand-off have been examined in a local hospital and are in good condition, a hospital spokesperson said yesterday. "The children were examined last night and they are in good condition," said the Bonner General hospital spokesperson, Ms Roberta Martinez. CNN television reported that the children, who ranged in age from eight to 16, voluntarily abandoned the rustic, single-story cabin late on Saturday where they had been holed up since authorities arrested their mother on Tuesday. They were driven from the family property in a sports utility vehicle.
