The Austrian businessman who sought the eviction of a former employee last week has introduced night patrols at his "Wild West ranch" in Co Leitrim after it was daubed with graffiti saying: "Landlords Out".
Mr Michael Hehle said green paint was daubed on the walls, windows and doors of the "saloon" at the Drumcoura City complex in Ballinnmore at the weekend.
An attempt was made to evict a German national, Mr Gerrit Isenborger, from a property near Bawnboy, Co Cavan, owned by Mr Hehle, last week.
Mr Isenborger is in custody and is due to appear before Cavan District Court tomorrow on firearms charges.
