Gardaí have released on bail 24 anti-globalisation protesters who were arrested yesterday in Dublin.

Gardaí have released on bail 24 anti-globalisation protesters who were arrested yesterday in Dublin.

The demonstrators were detained for public order offences after over 300 people took part in the protest which began on Burgh Quay yesterday afternoon.

The protesters are due to appear in court over the next two weeks on charges of assault criminal damage and public order offences .
