Aer Lingus has announced a new scheduled service from Dublin to Alicante for the summer period.
The service will start on April 2nd with two flights weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays and follows the airline’s recent announcement of new routes to Malaga, Barcelona and Nice.
The airline also announced an increase in frequency on its Malaga service from three to five flights weekly. Aer Lingus will now operate 38 flights weekly in its summer schedule to Spain.
The airline’s Chief Operations Officer, Mr Seamus Kearney, said the company has committed to offering 2.5 million low fares seats in 2002 and since January over 300,000 of these have been snapped up.
