LONDON - An airliner landed in Britain yesterday minus 91 passengers who refused to board in Florida after seeing smoke billowing from the air conditioning.

Some 246 passengers accepted assurances from the flight operator, Excalibur Airways, that the DCIO was serviceable and arrived in Manchester this morning after the 4,000 mile haul from Orlando. But some of those who stayed behind were furious and accused the airline of "bullying" equally worried passengers into travelling.
