La Paz - Seven people, including five small girls, were found frozen to death in Bolivia's high-altitude Uyuni Salt Lake desert, a local newspaper reported yesterday.
The bodies of the girls, ranging in age from five months to 13-years-old, were found floating in a lagoon next to the bodies of two women, police said. An eighth person was still missing. The victims had been trying to cross the area on foot after the truck they had been travelling in broke down.
