Tehran - Iranian police seized 50,000 bottles of alcohol yesterday that had been hidden in a lorry that was supposed to be carrying liquefied natural gas, state radio reported.
Three people were arrested in connection with the haul, which was made in the northwest city of Mahabad in West Azerbaijan province, near Iran's border with Turkey, the radio said. --(AFP)
