An explosion wrecked a building belonging to a Masonic lodge in Turkey's business capital Istanbul this evening, killing three people and injuring at least seven, NTV commercial television reported.

The blast occurred on the Asian side of the Bosphorus Straits which divide the city. No more details are immediately available.
