HARARE - A Zimbabwean headmaster was jailed for 30 years for raping 23 schoolgirls aged between eight and 15, the state news agency Ziana, reported yesterday.
It said Phillip Smart Chiswa was sentenced last week to a total of more than 100 years by a magistrate in Chinhoyi, north western Zimbabwe, for the rapes at a rural school in 1995. The magistrate ordered some sentences to run concurrently.
