A file is being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions following the arrest of two men in connection with the death of a Co Wicklow man. Mr Brian Murphy (32), Blessington, Co Wicklow, had not been seen since December 10th last year. His body was subsequently taken from the River Barrow at Athy, Co Carlow, on January 22nd.
One man was arrested on Monday evening in Heuston Station in Dublin and a second man was arrested in Dublin yesterday morning. Both were taken to Athy Garda station for questioning. The men have been released pending a decision from the DPP.
