GARDAI arrested two men and seized £10,000 in drugs, along with a handgun and a shotgun in a planned search on a south Dublin premises on Saturday.
The men, aged 36 and 32, from Swords and Tallaght, were arrested at a house on Upper Kilmacud Road. They were held for about 24 hours in Blackrock and Dundrum Garda stations, under the 1996 Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act before being released.
Ecstasy tablets, cocaine and cannabis resin with an estimated street value of £10,000 were found. A file has been sent to the Director for Public Prosecutions.
