2 elderly pedestrians killed

Two elderly men have died in road accidents in Donegal and Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. A 77-year-old man died after being struck by two vehicles while crossing the road at Burnfoot, Co Donegal, shortly after 6 p.m. yesterday. The second accident happened at Upper Georges Street, Dun Laoghaire, at 6.45 p.m. when an 85-year-old man was struck by a bus while crossing the road.
