LIMA - At least 18 people died and 28 were injured when a bus carrying about 50 passengers fell 80 metres into a ravine in the Andes mountains, Peruvian police said yesterday.
The accident happened on Sunday night in the remote region of Pawar, about 250 km north east of the capital Lima, when the driver lost control of the bus on a muddy dirt road.
