A Clondalkin man caused over £1,000 worth of damage to a pay phone, in order to steal £13

A Clondalkin man caused over £1,000 worth of damage to a pay phone, in order to steal £13.30, Swords District Court has been told.

Trevor Ormond (19), of St Mark's Avenue, Clondalkin, pleaded guilty to possession of a Vicegrips and a screwdriver at Beaumont Hospital on March 10th, 1995, and to damaging a pay phone.

Judge Sean Delap remanded Ormond to May 27th for compensation or a jail sentence.
