Dar Es Salaam - At least 12 people were feared dead after their fishing boat sank in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of the Tanzanian capital at the weekend, local newspapers reported yesterday. "Our fishing boat sank near Pemba Mnazi in Kisiju area. Twelve people who were in the vessel are still missing," Mr Harkishan Bhagat, the owner of the vessel, was quoted by the Independent Guardian newspaper as saying. Mr Bhagat said the boat had 28 people on board and 16 tonnes of fish when it capsized early on Sunday. Sixteen people were rescued.
