Almost £100,000 worth of jewellery and cash was stolen from O'Connor's Jewellers in the Merrion Centre, Ballsbridge, Dublin, last night. Two armed and masked men entered the shop at 7.30 p.m. and threatened staff with a knife and a what appeared to be a fake gun, according to gardai. They escaped in a black 94 Dublin registered Mazda.
