The shopping Mecca that is the Dundrum Town Centre has introduced a farmers’ market, which takes place between 11am and 4pm every Sunday. The market is in the centre’s Pembroke District, which is the newer area, where Hamley’s is. It’s also where The Counter burger restaurant is, so you can pop in during your market shopping to get a look at an exhibition of 20 paintings by Orla Walsh, whose pop art depictions of iconic brands such as Tayto, Heinz and Guinness, are gaining an international following. The Heinz Corporation recently purchased some of her work for their headquarters in Pittsburg. The exhibition runs until the end of this month.
