If you’re stuck for dinner ideas, short on time and have only a few ingredients, then a new collection of five-ingredient recipes may be just the solution. Australian food blogger Jules Clancy is giving away a free Stonesoup e-cookbook designed around the principle of minimalist home cooking. Each of the 65 recipes contains at most five ingredients, can be whipped up in less than 10 minutes, and is designed to use as little equipment as possible.

Clancy, a food scientist and former chocolate-biscuit designer, believes limiting ingredients in this way encourages people to prepare food at home and means the dishes are healthy, fresh and cheap. From a beef and broccoli stir-fry to mini baileys cheesecakes, each of the recipes is accompanied by a mouth-watering photo that will inspire even the most reluctant of cooks. Most definitely do try this at home. The Stonesoup e-cookbook can be downloaded at http://thestonesoup.com/blog.
