Question time on The Women’s Podcast: ’What’s the most creative thing you’ve done lately?’

This week’s question is about learning to live a creative life

Each week on The Women’s Podcast we ask listeners a question. This week the question was inspired by upcoming guest ’Eat, Pray. Love’ author Elizabeth Gilbert and her new book ’Big Magic’, which is about learning to life a creative life. Guest host Rachel Collins wanted to know:

“What is the most creative thing you’ve done lately?”

Last week’s question was themed around our special episode for Food Month in The Irish Times. We asked: What is your guilty food pleasure? Collins confessed that her guilty pleasure consisted of chicken flavour Koka noodles, between two slices of white bread with grated cheese and coleslaw. “A sandwich of horrors,” she said. “But it’s been my go to comfort food since college”.

She was not the only one who had food cravings so wrong they’re right. Here are some of your responses:

The Burlesque Chef got in touch via twitter and said Four Cheese Pizza smothered in hot sauce. “So wrong but so satisfying.”

Sonia Harris opted for a very full on fish finger sandwich, “brown sauce on one slice, ketchup on the other, fried egg and gruyere.”

Caitriona McBride admitted to a deep fondness for cheese and marmalade sandwiches and Caffrey’s snowballs.

Mary-Jane O’Regan went for chip sandwiches on white bread with real butter and ketchup. “And a glass of Tanora. Classic.”

And Dearbhla Kelly said “I’ve been known to make toasted sandwiches from the leftovers of a spice bag but I don’t even feel guilty about that”.
