Routes to avoid around the country
DUBLIN:
Sunday Sept 25th, BOI All-Ireland Football Championship Final between Kerry and Tyrone takes place at Croke Prk. Expect delays on N3, N2 or N1, and on N72, N21 and N7. Heavy traffic also on M1 Swords Rd, Drumcondra Rd and N32.
MEATH:
N52 closed between R165 Mandistown Cross and R162 Cassidy's Cross on Kells/Ardee Rd, (11.3Km). Alternative routes: for traffic from Ardee to Kells and beyond: from Ardee travel south on N2 towards Dublin for 21km. In Slane at N2/N51 junction turn right towards Navan. Go west for some 1.5km to N51/R163 junction. Turn right on to R163 and west for 24km to Kells. In Kells at R163/N3 junction, turn right on to N3 towards Cavan. Travel for 0.5km to N3/N52 junction, turn left on to N52 for Mullingar and beyond.
For traffic from Kells to Ardee and beyond: in Kells at N52/N3 junction, turn right on to N3 towards Dublin. Travel for 0.5km to N3/R163 junction, turn left on to R163. Go east for 24km on R163 to R163/N51 junction. Turn left on to N51 towards Drogheda and travel for about 1.5km to N51/N2 junction. Turn left on to N2 towards Derry, go for 21km to Ardee and rejoin N52 for Dundalk.
An 11.3km section of N52 Kells/Ardee Rd closed from Mandistown Cross to Cassidy's Cross, Grange. Main diversion route is via Slane.
Footpath reconstruction on Railway St, Navan. No on-street parking.
LIMERICK:
Nightly works on Clare St (Dublin Rd R445) from Abbey Bridge to Pennywell Rd junction, 6.30pm- 7am. Stop/Go system in place, delays expected. No parking.
KERRY:
Works on the Conor Pass Road, east of Dingle. Expect delays.
Until Friday surfacing on N21 at Ratass between Ratass and New Clashlehane Roundabouts.
CORK:
Car Free Day tomorrow as part of European Mobility Week. Following streets pedestrianised from 11am to 5pm from Monday to Friday: Oliver Plunkett St, Maylor St, Caroline St, Beasley St and Pembroke St.
Resurfacing on Railway Rd, Charleville.
Resurfacing in Buttevant, between the school and Castle Tavern.
Short Quay at Market Quay is closed.
Works on N22 Cork/Killarney Road at Lissarda. Avoid if possible, major delays expected.
The LS6473, Shanbally to Raffeen closed between junctions of Shanbally Cross and Raffeen Square for laying of broadband ducts. Southbound traffic from Raffeen to Shanbally travel west from Raffeen via R610-113 towards Raffeen Bridge to N28-26. Then travel east from Raffeen Bridge to Shanbally Cross Roads via N28-19. Northbound traffic from Ringaskiddy to Monkstown travels west from Shanbally Cross Roads via N28-19 to Raffeen Bridge. Then east from Raffeen Bridge towards Raffeen via R610-113.

Surfacing on N25 in Kilmeaden - major traffic restrictions and delays.
LONGFORD:
